Blahnik salutes Ajay Balenciaga

Greetings All: This is an amazing weekend for both, the House of Blahnik and the entire ballroom community. In 2006, the House of Blahnik conceptualized a scholarship that would make a difference in the lives of people of color in the house/ball community. Now, we see that vision come to fruition… Today, our first scholar, Ajmar Millar know by his House/Ball friends as “Ajay Balenciaga”, walks through Baccalaureate ceremonies a Morehouse College, in Atlanta, GA. Tomorrow, May 18, 2008, he graduates! He is our first scholarship recipient and a pillar in the community. Best stated by Orrin Hatch, “There is a good reason they call these ceremonies ‘commencement exercises’. Graduation is not the end; it’s the beginning.” As Mr. Ajay Balenciaga moves through life representing us all, let’s use this time to celebrate him and honor his achievement! ”He who refuses to embrace a unique opportunity loses the prize as surely as if he had failed,” by William James. I jus wanted to come by and say congratz 2 AJ!!! I know it was not easy and nothing in life is suppose 2 b. However, you did it and I am sure the whole ballroom community is proud of u as am I. Congratz again man.
