House of Blahnik Celebrates World AIDS Day with Reaffirmation

Atlanta, Georgia — World AIDS Day 2012, the House of Blahnik (HOB) recommits to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STI), improving access to HIV care, treatment and supportive services, and to continue its advocacy efforts to ensure that life-saving medications are affordable and accessible to those who need it. We pledge to be constant and consistent sources of accurate information, liaisons to resources that improve the quality of life for persons living with HIV, and advocates to ensure that healthcare providers are culturally appropriate and sensitive to all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons.
